Suit claiming discrimination against Christian group dismissed by appeals court

The 11th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals in Atlanta upheld a lower court's dismissal of a Loxley couple's 2006 civil rights lawsuit against the Baldwin County Board of Education.

The case centers on Glynis Bethel and her husband, Orlando Bethel, who sued the board in 2006. Orlando Bethel has recently announced plans to seek the office of sheriff.

The couple claimed that the school system denied them use of school facilities for an after-school Christian group and that the school system denied Glynis Bethel the chance to work as a substitute teacher because of her religion.

The couple further complained that they were denied their constitutional right to preach outside of Loxley Elementary School.

The couple amended their lawsuit in January 2007 to include six more complaints -- five of which a U.S. District Court judge in Mobile later determined to be unrelated to the original complaint.

In August 2007, the District Court dismissed all claims except the one against the school board for not allowing use of public school facilities for a Christian group, which then left Glynis Bethel as the sole plaintiff in the case.

After she refused to appear at a September 2008 hearing as ordered by the court, the case was dismissed by a District Court judge.

In dismissing the case last week, the appeals court said the lower court was within its rights to strike the amended complaint, according to a court document.

The appeals court also said the District Court "has inherent authority to enforce its orders and provide for the orderly disposition of litigation." In addition, the District Court can dismiss a case where a plaintiff refuses to comply with a court order, the document further stated.

The appeals court also said assertions that the Bethels' Seventh Amendment rights were violated were "merely a list of statements" that contained no arguments or citations. END

GOD is good. This is Glynis Bethel. This story writer has embellished the truth of what happened with my case even though she read the facts. This woman is attempting to strategically paint a picture, in her article, that I am incompetent and don't know how to litigate my case as a pro se litigant. Judge Kristi Dubose (www.KristiDubose.com in which I am the owner of this domain name in which I will be doing an expose of the corrupt and criminal Federal judge Kristi Dubose) illegally and unlawlly in a conspiracy to violate constituional rights tossed my case because her buddy and clerk Jeff Reinert. If you will research the Federal Court documents, you will see that I prosecuted my lawsuit diligently, but the corrupt witch Kristi Dubose dismissed it out of revenge and vengence because I called her a "witch-b1tch," in my documents. Later one day, I told the staff in the lobby of the courthouse (nowhere near her chambers) that they were adulterers and preached a brief Fire-and-Brimstone message. Also, the effiminate clerk Jeff Reinert was so mad at me because we had a disagreement inside of the lobby of the court (unrelated to the Bethel vs. Baldwin County Board of Education) and I rebuked him and told him that he was not going to go to heaven with me because he was not suffering persecution for the sake of CHRIST like I was. Clerk Jeff Reinert had no authority over me, but to get revenge, he coerced the criminal Judge Kristi Dubose to use the official style of my lawsuit in order to criminally bribe me to come to a Kangaroo Court hearing to question me about my behavior against Clerk Jeff Reinert in the lobby. I refused to allow them to make me appear at a hearing which had NOTHING to do with the merits of my lawsuit agianst the Baldwin County Board of Education. They thought they could use fear tactics in order for me to appear in Kristi Dubose and Jeff Reinert's illegal proceedings. When it didn't work, corrupt Kristi Dubose fruadulently gave the appearance that I didn't appear at the hearing to prosecute my civil lawsuit when in fact, the illegal "order" had NOTHING to do with the lawsuit. Ba$tard Clerk Jeff Reinert has to answer to GOD for his actions. Jeff Reinert and Kristi Dubose are BOTH guilty of crimes against me such as "obstruction of justice," "aiding and abetting," "conspiracy to violate constitutional rights," "abuse of process," etc. At this point in time, one thing they CANNOT stop is my next lawsuit on the same issue based upon the Alabama Constitution Law which states that no one can stop me from seeking a civil lawsuit in any court. They are STILL denying me the use of the building for my program and the "No Child Left Behind" act states that if they are receiving FEDERAL FUNDS OR MONEY, the Baldwin County Board of Education cannot deny Religious persons a chance to share their Religion. One thing that the witch cannot do is control the constant stream of lawsuits. They cannot take away my home; therefore, the only thing left is for Baldwin County Board of Education to collect MORE tax money to pay their debts which is going to be constant litigation with me UNTIL I get to use the PUBLIC building as the law allows. I have offered to settle, but they have refused and instead attempted to kidnap my children in order to make me buckle under pressure. I have been falsely arrested and imprisoned and stripped searched at least 4 separate times in order to silence me by the City of Bay Minette and their corrupt Attorney Scotty Lewis, one of the Baldwin County Board of Education's corrupt attorneys, orchestrating all of the physical torments through the false arrests. Technically, this matter is not over because we are appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court. After this appeal, we will begin again in the Federal Court. I am praying that GOD will remove the witch Kristi Dubose from office through some type of heart attack.
